I strive to push the boundaries of my craft whenever I work on a project. Using both sound design and through the creation of unique musical themes & melodies, I strive to craft a unique sound world in order to best reflect, develop, and enhance the story.

Past Work
Shortland Street
I was Composer and Music Supervisor on New Zealand's longest running and highest rated drama "Shortland Street" from 2019-2023. In this role I was tasked with composing music for five 23-minute episodes per week - a feature film's length of content every week.
I crafted unique themes, melodies and sound worlds for each major storyline, developing them over the course of each character's often months long narrative journey. I treated the music like another character, scoring lightly when the performances were doing the work, and scoring full emotive or more filmic tracks for bigger sequences, set pieces and montages.
I also rearranged the iconic Shortland Street theme multiple times; incorporating it into the score, crafting a new recap bed and creating the 30th Anniversary celebration rework of the theme - "Is It You Or Is It Me" Feat. Tina Cross and Bella Kalolo.
Retribution
A TVNZ original, "Retribution" is a dark miniseries set in the gritty gang-ruled underbelly of Christchurch. This series gave me the opportunity to craft a unique sound world to help immerse the viewer in the setting, using lots of industrial percussion, guitar feedback samples and guttural analog synths to creative a dark, oppressive and dangerous atmosphere.
